Unit 2: Our Changing Earth
Earth is a complex and constantly evolving. In this unit, students will learn about the geologic history and structure of our Earth and how its complexities cause continual movement and change, such as seafloor spreading and continental drift, as well as earthquakes and volcanoes. Notable geophysicists and their contributions will also be looked at as we study our ever-changing planet. As this is a somewhat lengthy unit, it is broken up into Part A (Geologic Time & Earth's Interior) and Part B (Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes & Volcanoes).
